TELFORD, PA — DiversiLabs (www.diversilabs.com) has selected Cernotics to help develop their End to End software for achieving submillimeter accuracy on a conventional linac with stereotatic cones for brain cancer radiation treatment. This project builds on the previous work Cernotics did on patient alignment for setting up the treatment plan.
Cernotics was chosen for this project because of their programming expertise, ability to jump in quickly and thorough coding and testing abilities. This project combines Matlab algorithms and image processing to determine beam center location, without any image flip bias, on scanned films from pre-patient phantom film tests.
